The dense city center has tall buildings that can block the view of the northern sky. Outlying neighborhoods, housing estates and the Madrid mountains have fewer obstacles and easier installation.
Starlink is available across the Madrid region. The antenna needs a clear view of the sky; rooftops and detached houses usually meet this. Confirm exact availability and delivery time for your address with the official checker.
Tips for installing in this area
If you live in a central apartment, consider a rooftop or north-facing balcony mount. The included kickstand helps raise it above parapets.
Frequently asked questions
Does Starlink reach central Madrid?
Yes, Madrid is within Starlink's service area. Real availability depends on a clear view of the sky from your location; in the dense center it may need a rooftop install.
Does Starlink make sense if I already have fiber in Madrid?
For most homes with stable fiber, no. Starlink shines where fiber is absent or as a backup. Assess your case before ordering.
